Following an incredible career with the Orange and tallying 1,542 all-purpose yards on the season, standout running back LeQuint Allen Jr. announced his decision to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft (READ MORE).

Entering 2025, a 6-7 overall Syracuse team will set sail to face a 9-4 Seminoles and 7-7 Georgia Tech team:

This week, we are scouting an 11-2 FSU and 8-5 SMU team as the Orange continues its conference slate:

  • The Seminoles rank second nationally in points per game with 94.9

  • Junior Ta'Niya Latson leads the nation with 27.2 points per game while teammate Makayla Timpson is also among the best in the nation, ranking second in blocks (41) and third in blocks per game (3.15)

  • SMU center Jessica Peterson secured a double-double in the last three matchups, with 16 or more rebounds in the team’s two Evan Moore Classic games

  • Mustangs guard Nya Robertson currently ranks 19th in the NCAA in scoring with 20.1 points per game and 23rd in total points with 261
