In the “best football game ever witnessed,” Syracuse struck down Virginia Tech in a matchup that came down to the wire.
With only seconds to spare in the fourth quarter, Donovan McNabb heaved up a pass from across the endzone.
Time seemingly slowed as the ball glided through the air. Anticipating the play, tight-end Steve Brominiski quickly raised up and snatched down the 13-yard pass as the clock struck 00s.
Syracuse ultimately claims a 28-26 victory over the Hokies [6:25] in what is without a doubt, one of the wildest finishes in program history.

Syracuse alum Miles Robinson will officially make his Olympic debut in Paris as announced by U.S. Men’s Soccer Head coach Marko Mitrović earlier this week. The team is set to take on host France in its first game of the major tournament on July 24 (READ MORE).
