🍊 Mark & Elissa are Members of the Month

Mark is a proud Syracuse alumnus and a supporter of Cuse Athletics since enrolling as a freshman over 50 years ago. A native of Camillus and West Genesee graduate, he moved to the Southern Tier for his career where he and his wife, Elissa raised their family.

Despite a three hour round-trip, they continued as season ticket holders for football and basketball and missed only a handful of home games while living in Broome County. Like all good retirees, Mark and Elissa moved back to the 315 upon ending their professional lives and now live in Clay with their Lhasa Apso, Pearlie, enjoying a much shorter commute to the Dome.

Mark has been a long time participant in the Fine Mess Tailgate and was the driving force behind rebranding the group as Enrique’s SyraCRUZ tailgate with an associated NIL project built on a revolutionary grass roots effort of fans banding together to support student Athletes. The initiative experienced explosive growth and has completed projects with 41 Syracuse student athletes across eight different sports totaling nearly $65,000. With the increase in magnitude and shared values the group now partners with Orange United and Mark is excitedly looking forward to the second year of our alliance!
